Description

Anacampseros tomentosa (Portulacaceae) Native to the summer rainfall areas of South Africa and Namibia. It is a short columnar succulent to 5(-10) cm tall from a swollen root-stock. The few fleshy branches are covered in closely packed leaves with thin cobweb-like hairs. Sowing : Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25C. Cover with peat or sand. Locality : Ex Hort. Date of harvest : October 2017
