Description
Asparagus racemosus (Asparagaceae). It grows one to two metres tall. It has small pine-needle-like phylloclades that are uniform and shiny green. It produces minute, white flowers on short, spiky stems, and which are followed by blackish-purple, globular berries. Sowing : Sow seeds in a well drained medium. Locality: Stellenbosch. Harvest : November 2013
