Description
Bellevalia trifoliata (Hyacintaceae). Three-leaved Hyacinth, Three-leaved Bellevalia. It is native to the East Mediterranean, from France to Cyprus, Lebanon and Israel. Perennial plant of 20-30 cm height, glabrous, with brown oval bulb. The leaves are 15-25 mm broad and usually 3, lanceolate. The flowers are disposed on a cylindrical raceme, brownish-purple, with yellowish tip, on short pedicels of 5-7 mm. Sowing : Sow seeds in a well drained medium. Locality : Ex Hort. Date of harvest : December 2014.
