Description
Cephalophyllum spongiosum (Mesembryanthemaceae) The new name is now Jordaaniella spongiosum. It has thick, gray-green, finger-like leaves that are upright, and the plant either creeps along the ground or straggles through bushes. This species has extremely large flowers that are red with orange elements. Sowing : Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25°C. Cover with peat or sand. Locality : Port Nolloth.
