Description
Ceropegia linearis ssp. woodii (Rosary Vine) String of hearts, necklace vine, rosary vine, Wood’s ceropegia, hanging milkwort, Jacob’s beard, little pitchers, chain of hearts, collar of hearts, hearts entangled, hearts-on-a-string, sweetheart vine, heart vine, halssnoer-ranker. It is usually kept as a hanging pot subject. The small, heart-shaped leaves are a dull pinkish purple below and either green or a variegated silvery-green above. The leaves sometimes curve into a spoon-like shape. Sowing: Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: March 2023
