Description
Clivia robusta (Amaryllidaceae). It can reach a height of up to 1,6m. It grows naturally in swampy conditions and is a very strong grower. The braod strap shaped leaves reach 180mm and stands upright. Plants flower in late autumn to midwinter, producing pendulous flowers ranging from pale to dark orange with green tips. Sowing : The seeds can be sown in a medium of fine bark and compost, by pressing them into the medium just below the surface. It is important to keep the medium moist at all times.
