Description
Crinum graminicola (10 seeds)(Amaryllidaceae). river lily, veld lily (Eng.); rivierlelie, veldlelie (Afr.); umNduze (Zulu). Flowers are usually a uniform deep pink color but many plants have flowers that are white with a prominent, deep pink keel. The leaves are broad and almost leather like. Sowing : Seeds are placed in a well-drained, sandy medium with plenty of compost and a slow-release fertilizer such as bonemeal, with regular watering and full sun. Locality : Parys.
