Description
Crinum macowanii (Araceae) River Lily (e), Rivierlelie (a) Hardy, deciduous, large bulbous plant with huge trumpet-like flowers, with a crimson line on the petals, that blooms at different times through summer. This outstanding plant also has attractive knobbly seed heads, which will readily seed themselves around the garden to form clumps. It requires full sun and moist conditions.
