Description
Cymbopogon pospischilii. (Narrowleaf Turpentine Grass) Caespitose perennial; culms up to 150 cm high. Leaves pilose with a few long hairs near the ligule only, often tinged with red; ligule 0.5–1.5 mm long; laminas 12–21 cm long, 4–5 mm wide, broadest at about the middle, switch-like, scabrid on the margins, very gradually tapering at the apex to a thread-like point. Inflorescence 17–38 cm long, elongated and ± interrupted, reddish. Sowing: Sow seeds in a well drained medium. Locality: Porterville. Harvest: April 2022
