Cyrtanthus brachyscyphus (20 seeds) (Amaryllidaceae) An interesting orange/red colored species that does well in shady and damp areas. It is frost tender and will grow well in a pot. It needs water and fertilizer during the spring and summer months and the reward is bunches of long lasting orange flowers. Sowing : Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark to stop it from blowing away.
