Description
Cyrtanthus carneus (price per 20 seeds) Robust, bulbous geophyte up to 75cm. Leaves up to 10, sometimes green at flowering, suberect, strap-shaped, twisted, up to 6cm wide; flowers 15-25, red or orange, nodding, 5-7cm long, tubular. Sowing : Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: March 2019
