Description
Daphne laureola (Thymelaceae). Spurge-laurel. Its native range covers much of Europe and extends to Algeria, Morocco and the Azores. It is a bushy evergreen shrub to 1.2m, with glossy dark green leaves and greenish-yellow flowers in late winter, followed by black berries. Sowing : Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25C. Sowing Depth: Surface. Cover with peat or sand. Locality : Ex Hort.
