Description
Eliokarmos strictus (Hyacinthaceae) Old name used to be Ornithogalum strictum. It grows to 80 cm in height. It has erect lance shaped leaves. From late spring to summer it bears a cylindrical raceme of glossy white flowers. Sowing : Sow seeds in autumn in a well-draining medium. Spread seeds thinly to prevent damping-off. Cover with a thin layer of river sand. Keep moist. Seed will germinate in about 2 weeks after sowing. Locality : Ceres. Harvest : October 2022
