Description
Erica woodii. (ericaceae) Erect branched sub-shrub, 20 – 60 cm tall. Branches with short simple hairs and longer, branched glandular hairs. Scale-like leaves in whorls of 3. Flowers in 6-9 flowered clusters in the axils of the upper leaf-whorls and on short side branches, together forming narrow, paniculate inflorescences. Corolla bell-shaped, mauve, pale pink or white, hairless except for minutely ciliate margins. Sowing : sow seeds in summer in a well drained medium. Locality : Krugersdorp. Harvest : August 2020
