Description
Frailea asteroides (Cactaceae) When well grown, it is often a dark brown to purple. As it ages, it tends more towards brown. Normally a single head. Tubercles in rows or as lowly ribs, spines mostly only a few, small, adjacent. Blossoms yellow to brownish-red. Sowing : Sow seeds in a well drained medium. Locality : Ex Hort.
