Description
Fritillaria imperialis ssp lutea (Liliaceae). Native to Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Himalayas. This stunningly bright Yellow flowers will make a bold statement in your garden during Spring time and will grow to 90cm tall with a very sturdy stem. It bears lance-shaped, glossy leaves at intervals along the stem. At the top of the stem, the downward facing flowers are topped with a ‘crown’ of small leaves, hence the name.
