Galtonia viridiflora (Hyacinthaceae) A perrenial bulb with graygreen leaves that grow in full sun. Naturally it grows in alpine conditions. It produces spikes of waxy, mildly fragrant, white blossoms resembling those of lilies-of-the-valley above the gray-green, linear foliage. In temperate regions, this bulbous plant is often grown as an annual for summer color. Sowing : Sow at 20?C, if no germination in 3-4 wks, move to -4?C to +4?C for 2-4 wks. Locality : Sentinel.
