Description
Habranthus robustus. Amaryllidaceae. Old name was Zephyranthus robusta.Native to Brazil. It is a small yet utterly beautiful Amaryllid with pink flowers and yellow anthers. Typically, the flowers emerge following a rain (or watering) in mid-summer. Its foliage is thin and linear. Sowing : Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality : Ex Hort. Harvest : December 2019
