Description
Iris sibirica (Iridaceae). Siberian Iris or Siberian flag. It is? native to north east Turkey, Russia, eastern and central Europe. This tall Siberian iris produces deep purple flowers in late spring on rigid stems which rise to 40″ high above a clump of arching, narrow, grass-like, linear leaves. Sowing : Sow seeds in summer. Locality : Ex Hort. Date of harvest : May 2013
