Description
Ixia longituba (Iridaceae) The flowers which appear in early summer are cream colored to pink and sometimes flushed pink on the outside. Sowing : Seed can be sown in autumn in seed trays or pots. It is critical for the survival of the seedlings that the seeds are distributed thinly and good ventilation is maintained to prevent damping-off. Seeds can be treated with a fungicide prior to sowing. Locality: Botrivier. Date of harvest : November 2018.
