Description
Knautia arvensis (Dipsacaceae). Field Scabious. Native to the UK. It is a clump-forming perennial with lax stems bearing simple or pinnately lobed leaves and lilac-blue flowerheads to 4cm across in summer and autumn. Sowing: Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25C. Sowing Depth: Surface. Cover with peat or sand.?Locality: Ex Hort.
