Description
Mahonia aquifolium (Berberidaceae). Oregon grape. It is an evergreen shrub of 1 to 1.5m and is native to North America. It has pinnate leaves consisting of spiny leaflets, and dense clusters of yellow flowers in early spring, followed by black berries. Sowing : Sow seeds in summer. Locality : Ex Hort. Date of harvest : May 2013.
