Description
Monilaria chrysoleuca (Mesembryanthemaceae). Native to the arid winter rainfall areas of Namaqualand. Clumps with old stems bead-like. Leaves in pairs long, blunt covered with glassy bladder cells like sugar. Sowing: Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25°C. Cover with peat or sand. Locality: Knersvlakte. Harvest: October 2023
