Description
Beaucarnea recurvata (Nolina recurvata) Elephant’s-Foot. It is a dioecious, evergreen, succulent tree up to 9 m tall (but rarely more than 1,20 to 2,50 indoors) with a very noticeable swollen base that tapers up to a slender trunk that ends in a head of green and recurving foliage (also known as ponytale palm). It is a slow-growing very peculiar species often seen as a houseplant. Sowing : Use a conventional heated propogator with a clear lid, natural light and JI seed compost. They are quick to germinate but slow after that. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: August 2021
