Description
Ornithogalum orthophyllum ssp. acuminatum (Hyacinthaceae) It grows in the winter rainfall areas of South Africa. It grows in deep sands and has white flowers. It flowers in the spring. Sowing : Sow seeds in autumn in a well-draining medium. Spread seeds thinly to prevent damping-off. Cover with a thin layer of river sand. Keep moist. Seed will germinate in about 2 weeks after sowing. Locality : Citrusdal. Harvest : July 2021
