Description
Passiflora edulis (Passifloraceae). Also known as Passion fruit it is a vine that is native to parts of Southern America. The passion fruit is round to oval, either yellow or dark purple at maturity, with a soft to firm, juicy interior filled with numerous seeds. The fruit is both eaten and juiced. Sowing : Sow seeds in summer. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: February 2023
