Description
Primula vulgaris (Primulaceae). It is native to western and southern Europe. It is a perennial forming a rosette of tongue-shaped leaves, with many scented, usually primrose-yellow flowers 2.5-3.5cm across, in early spring. Sowing : Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25C.? Cover with peat or sand. Locality : Ex Hort.
