Description
Price per 10 seeds. Raphionacme dyeri (Apocynaceae). Native to South Africa. Perennial herb, up to 15 cm high, growing from a ovoid tuber (caudex) 10 cm in diameter. Stems up to 15 cm long, decumbent or spreading horizontally, reddish-green, hairy. Leaves opposite, more or less narrowly ovate, 2-6.5 cm long, mostly folded lengthwise, dull bluish-green and hairless above, hairy below. Flowers in terminal or axillary branched heads, 3-5 flowers per branch, purplish-green. Sowing : Sow seeds in summer. Locality : Bloemfontein. Date of harvest : Aug 2016
