Description
Rhadamanthus platyphyllus (Hyacinthaceae). This used to be Drimia platyphylla. It is a small bulb that is indigenous to South Africa and grows in the arid winter rainfall areas of Namaqualand. It makes only 2 leaves which are velvety and with 2 distinctive lines in. This is a true small gem. Sowing: Sow seeds in autumn. Locality: Caledon. Harvest: November 2022
