Description
Rhodohypoxis baurii (Rhodohypoxidaceae) It is a low growing bulb that occurs in alpine conditions. The leaves are lanceolate, slightly hairy and up to 10cm long. The flowers are borne on hairy spikes and vary from white, pink to red. Sowing : The seed should be sown in pots or trays containing a fine, free-draining mixture and kept moist until the seedlings appear. Locality : Sentinnel Peak. Date of harvest : April 2014
