Description
Sarracenia flava rugelii (yellow pitcher plant) (price per 5 seeds) The red-throated yellow trumpet pitcher plant naturally occurs in bogs throughout Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. It is one of the easiest North American Pitcher plants to grow, and when placed in full sun, the pitchers can turn lemon yellow in color. The red color in the throat becomes well defined on large, adult pitchers. This particular variety of Sarracenia flava features a large red-brown splotch on the throat section of the pitcher, a pattern that is quite stunning against a chartreuse background.
