Description
Satyrium carneum (Orchidaceae) Rooikappie (a). It is a robust plant with stout stems that reach a height of up to 70cm. The few leaves are thick and fleshy. The flowers which appear in summer are light pink in color. Sowing : Sow seeds in a well drained medium. Locality: Gansbaai. Harvest: January 2023
