Description
Drimia intricata (Schizobasis intricata). (Hyacinthaceae) It is an odd bulbous geophyte plant with and a thick shock of intricately branched, wiry stems 10-50 cm tall, which has taken over the function of photosynthesis from the leaves. Sowing: Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: July 2023
