Description
Watsonia laccata light purple (Iridaceae) It is a smaller Watsonia with pink, purple, orange or white flowers found on sandstone slopes in fynbos in winter rainfall areas. In flower it reaches about 60cm. Loves the full sun but protect in winter against frost. Sowing: Sow seeds in autumn. Locality: Swellendam. Harvest: May 2022
