Description
Zantedeschia mixed colours (Areaceae) Hardy, deciduous perennial with large arrow-shaped plain green leaves occasionally with spots. Funnel shaped flowers with a mixture of colours appear during mid summer. Plant among rocks next to a water feature in full sun or semi-shade. Dies down completely in winter. Excellent cut flower as it lasts for 2 weeks. Size 80cm. Sowing : Seed should be sown in spring. The grey seeds can be sown in clean seedling mix and covered lightly. Take care not to sow them too thickly as they will need space to form the fleshy roots. Locality : Ex hort. Date of harvest : April 2015.
