Description
Zanthoxylum capense (Rutaceae). Knobwood (e). A tree that grows up to 4-7m with a thorny grey bark. When the leaves are cruched they give a pleasant citus smell. Small sprays of white flowers appear in summer. Sowing : Sow in spring and give enough moisture , heat and light. Locality: Krugersdorp. Harvest: September 2019
