Adlumia fungosa. (Papaveraceae)This is an unusual and most attractive plant found in moist woods and thickets in North America. It is a biennial forming a low bushy plant the first year, then scrambling up to 15ft over shrubs and the like in the second, aided by its slender-stalked, Maidenhair Fern-like leaves. The drooping clusters of delicate, tubular, pinky-rose flowers. Sowing : Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: October 2022
