Common name: Reitz’ Aloe (e).
A handsome plant with large rosettes of glaucous green leaves. Branched inflorescences of many bright red flowers appear in spring. A high altitude species which should be hardy in a well drained, very sunny site.Height: 80cms.
Sowing instructions: Seed should be sown in spring on a well-drained seedling medium, lightly covered and treated with a fungicide. Seedlings will emerge after two to four weeks and can be transplanted at the age of six months into individual containers.
