Aloinopsis luckhoffii (lodewykii)


Aloinopsis luckhoffii.  A loose rosette of thick, angular leaves with raised, white dots. They are adapted to dry, full sun environments in South Africa and their color and texture help them camouflage among the rocks int heir native habitat. They produce a large yellow flower with lots of silky petals in the winter if grown in bright sun. Sowing : Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25°C. Cover with peat or sand. Locality: Springbok.
