Anacampseros comptonii (Portulacaceae) This plant was described by Neville Stuart Pillans in 1927. It is found in Southern Africa, growing in grit with little water and lots of sun. The caudex can grow up to two centimeter’s in diameter, the whole plant up to six centimeters. The flowers are white to pale pink. Sowing: Make sure that the temperature is warmer, or you are using a grow light and seed warmer. Sow seeds in well-draining soil, watering whenever the soil is dry. Germination can take several weeks or longer, depending on your growing environment. Locality: Nieuwoudtville. Harvest: January 2023
