Family: Ranunculaceae.

A fabulous anemone with deep red petals and a purple heart. Bourdeaux’s blossoms are beautifully shaped and flutter like poppies in the wind. Finely-cut foliage complements the blooms, then dies back during summer while the plants are dormant. Excellent for cutting and highly recommended. The flowers last for up to two weeks in a vase.

Sowing instructions: Sow seeds in autumn in a well drained medium.
