Anisodontea dissecta. Ruens Mallow. It is a sprawling subshrub up to 500 mm tall. The leaves are small, ovate, roughly hairy and deeply 2-palmatisect. Flowers are solitary in the upper axils and about 50 mm in diameter, consisting of white to light pink flowers mostly marked with dark pink lines in the middle. Sowing : Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: November 2023
