Antegibbaeum fissoides. It is a succulent species forming grey-green tufts of finger-like leaves. Its showy, purple blossoms appear in winter and open during the day. Sowing : Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25°C. Cover with peat or sand. Locality: Barrydale. Harvest: November 2023
