Arctotis aspera var cuprea. Sprawling perennial of 1 × 1 m, that can grow up to 2 m. The stem and leaves are covered with gland-tipped hairs and are rough to the touch. The leaves are auriculate, pinnatisect or bipinnatisect, have narrow segments with rolled under margins and often appear grey beneath. Sowing : Mix 50 % sand or silica with 50 % seedling mixture, which allows for good drainage. Mix the seeds with soil before sowing or sow them first and cover with a very fine soil. The container should provide good water drainage and be placed under moderate mist. The seeds will germinate within four weeks. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: October 2023
