Common names: Silver Birch.
It has a beautiful silvery bark that really stands out in winter when the leaves drop and the entire trunk is revealed. It has a weeping nature and silvery green foliage. Its leaves change from green to gold in autumn which makes it a lovely tree for year-round interest.
Sowing instructions: Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position.
