Bulbine annua. Asphodelaceae. Tufted annual up to 40cm with wiry roots. Many quill-like, fleshy leaves; bears a dense raceme of yellow star-shaped flowers on long flower stalks; fruits are globular on pedicels about 20mm long. Sowing: Sow seeds in summer in a well drained medium. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: December 2023
