It is a leaf succulent with a spreading, decumbent growth habit. Branches are reclining, hairy to sparsely hairy, reaching a height of 150–300 mm and with a spread of 200–300 mm. It has golden-yellow flowers in spring, succeeded by rounded, woody, multi-locular capsules.
Sowing instructions: Sow in trays, pots, etc. of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25°C. Cover with peat or sand.
