Carpobrotus muirii (Mesembryanthemaceae) Carpobrotus muirii is a hardy, evergreen, succulent, drought-resistant, spreading groundcover that has narrow, triangular-shaped, fleshy leaves. It bears large, vygie-like, purple flowers in spring and summer. Sowing: Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25°C.
