Ceropegia linearis ssp. woodii
Common names: (Rosary Vine) String of hearts, necklace vine, rosary vine, Wood’s ceropegia, hanging milkwort, Jacob’s beard, little pitchers, chain of hearts, collar of hearts, hearts entangled, hearts-on-a-string, sweetheart vine, heart vine, halssnoer-ranker.
It is usually kept as a hanging pot subject. The small, heart-shaped leaves are a dull pinkish purple below and either green or a variegated silvery-green above. The leaves sometimes curve into a spoon-like shape.
Sowing instructions: Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position.
