It is one of the most cold resistant Lemon of all. This variety comes from a cross between a Sour Mandarin and a Citron, and it’s been discovered from Johann Cristoph Volkamer, a German botanist. Plant is very compact in shape, medium in size and vigor. Thorns are usually found. -Leaves: Leaves are lanceolate, bright green in color, medium in size and sometimes double. Fruit is a classic lemon in size and shape. Flavor: Juice can be squeezed like every Citrus. Skin is medium in aroma, and rich in essential oils. Color: Skin is orange to deep orange outside. Pulp is light orange inside, and sometimes seedy.
Sowing instructions: Sow seeds in summer in a well drained medium.
